Storage rates in the UAE are typically based on volume (cubic meters). Our calculator uses market baseline rates: AED 60 per m³ for Air Conditioned (AC) units and AED 45 per m³ for Non-AC units. Final quotes may vary slightly based on duration and specific locations like Dubai Marina or Downtown.

Do I need AC storage for my furniture in Dubai?

Yes, given the extreme UAE heat and high humidity, we highly recommend climate-controlled (AC) storage for wooden furniture, electronics, leather items, and artwork. This prevents warping, mold, and melting. Non-AC storage is only suitable for rugged plastic items, tools, or outdoor gear.

Is there a minimum storage period for warehouses in the UAE?

Most of our vetted storage partners in Dubai and Abu Dhabi have a minimum contract of 1 month. You can store items for shorter periods (like a few weeks during a move), but standard billing covers the full first month.

Is my furniture insured while in storage?

Our UAE facility partners offer basic liability coverage. However, for total peace of mind, we recommend adding 'Extended Storage Insurance' to your booking, which fully covers theft, fire, and water damage.
